who are you?

hello i am ian, some people call me oyster. i am an amateur artist… and there is literally nothing else that’s interesting that i can think of right now. i’m the most person ever, people who don’t shower may even call me an “npc”.

why are you here?

like most people here, social media is getting tiring. i can’t handle the fast pace demand of it and would rather just have a permanent residence online which i can disappear from if i need to. i kinda just wanna make cool shit and then dip.

why oysterfield?

i like the phrase “the world is your oyster” a lot and i generally just think they’re quite pretty (even if i can’t eat them a lot). for the “field” section of my alias, it comes from my favourite resident evil character: chris redfield.

do straws have one hole or two holes?

i raise you one better. no holes. zero. now before you scream at me, let me explain. a straw is not a hole, it is a tube. you dont make them by drilling or digging into a plastic cylinder because that is way too tedious, you make them by wrapping a plastic sheet into a tube thus creating no holes… don’t look at me like that.

why did you rebrand from charmonydove?

admittedly it felt a bit restricting? i adore sunday, love him to bits, the collection of sunday stuff to the left of my desk should prove that enough... but i don't want that name attatched to me all the time? my old site was a fansite for him and that felt like all i could do, so i bit the bullet and ended up switching.
