remembering the exam period of my last year of highschool. id go to the library to study and id buy a drink from boost juice beforehand because there always big and last me the entire study session. additional bit of information, i always have to give a fake name when ordering drinks because everytime i use my real name i get a "huh?". i ended up ordering from this boost juice so often that when i gave the cashier my name she went "oh you come here so often i should remember that by now" and i got so embarassed that i left a lasting impact on a strangers life that i havent been to that boost juice since... i dont even think she works there anymore, whatever shes doing i hope shes okay.
ive been telling this story a lot to people lately so i guess ill immortalise it here. a youtube channel called memeulous made a video where he watched all the alvin and the chipmunks movies and made a drinking game out of it. i loved the alvin and the chipmunks as a kid, loved them so much that my family has the dvds of it in my first language. so i thought "wouldnt it be funny if i made my friends do the exact same thing?" we did end up doing that and i thought "ive never drank before and i trust my buds, im gonna try some alcohol!" i made it through half a can of this vodka soda called -196 and then i felt a sharp pain in the side of my body. i told my friends and they all told me to stop drinking, so i did. i went home feeling gross and then went to bed. i then woke up with the worst cold ever, i was so sick i thought i had covid. i went into the group chat asking "which one of you was sick. which one of you infected me" and all of them were like "nah none of us" strange... why was i feeling this ill? a few days go by, im still sick and my friends start talking to me about alcohol allergies... huh... interesting... i asked my mum "hey are any of us allergic to alcohol?" and she responds "yeah, most of us, we mainly just drink beer and very mixed drinks." and thats the story of how i found out that im allergic to alcohol. fun little extra, one of my friends was curious if it was only vodka that triggered this so he gave me a bit of soju and then yup exact same thing happened. pain in the side of my body, sick the next day. okay bye thats my life story.

the way people speak about things severely upsets me. even if its about something they deem as "mundane" and "funny." i don't enjoy people using serious topics as a descriptor or comparison to something less substantial. i read something from an artist i follow online making fun of the "buzzwords" used towards content/media/fandom. i put buzzwords in quotes because people these are real issues being absolutely bastardised because people can't sit down and think "huh, maybe it is odd to speak about these issues this way and i shouldnt use my large platform like this." it was upsetting to see, but i dont know this person? i just follow them for their nice art, its just upsetting to know someone im supporting with my time and attention may be yk... inssufferable? i get people do use these issues as "buzzwords" to feel more better about someone they dont like, but that is such a loud minority. id like it if people thought a bit more and would remember that this stuff does impact your reality.
i should probably learn more css rather than "by pixel" because im looking it up and the new laptop im getting says its 2560 x 1664 native resolution... my curent laptop is 1920 x 1080... that is crazy... also do you ever feel like you have the eyes of the world on you? haha just a silly question. ik my irls read this because i get concerned screenshots of this page and "you doing okay" quite a bit.. hey guys... im fine... you can leave now...

very quick update (like smosh reads reddit stories haha... w-wait no come back) my ipads pixel count (2732 x 2048) is larger than my laptops and it looks pretty normal there?? maybe ill be fine? yes trevor finds more excuses to never learn anything new HAHA
